The VW Passat is governed more rigid compared to other cars, I noticed that driving Nissan Sentra or GM cars, the steering feels much smoother, more sensitive to the slightest movement of the wheel, while the Passat you need a little effort, I like on other cars if I Steer according to usual habit he turned on Passat lot and with a little effort My friend told me to change the direction liquid , He wants to know if the Passat direction is designed to be more rigid, which actually feels much better, or change the fluid make it smoother.
Which is the setting of the toe, should I take it to a mechanic or do DIY I like the way it is now, but maybe in the future I would like to adjust it if possible.

Toe setting is what they do when you have the front end of fielding the best of a shop do it if you want to feel a little lighter, tell them to bring the foot closer to the minimum end of the specification.
I flushed my steering fluid once, about 80k miles it seemed a little smoother, but may have been my imagination just use the green fluid fabric I'm sure most people never change them, and no problem 200k miles.

I love the direction my b5 5, very tight and precise as I roll my 05ish girlfriends Toyota Avalon and its terrible, I will ride on the highway and tighten the rear wheel and fourth two inches or more and keep the car straight.

Is it an advantage with the default angle VW toe, in terms of mileage, traction and smooth driving, or is it just meant to give a sportier driving to distinguish from other cars.

German and most of Euro cars in general tend to have a heavier direction.
Yes, the exclusion of all French cars, Italian and Swedish.

Not to confuse you more, but the toe angle specifications VW is not the only reason for the steep direction, but on your private car if the foot is screwed up, it can be a factor you can pick one today alignment and there could be no difference in sensation.

There are a ton of non-adjustable rack reports, pump settings and other things that contribute to the overall stock feel like everyone says, it will normally be stiffer than most other cars.

I find it a bit like someone else stiffer said this can be common with many euro cars like my mother's volvo is much heavier than my father's Pacifica.

Which, ironically, is a German vehicle developed.
To be fair, Mercedes have among the lightest wheel on this side of Buick, I'll take on any modern Merc, I drove the direction of the Passat.
