German Auto Parts Dismantler Pelican Inc. Technical BBS

She Sunkara: Spokesperson Pelican Parts, Part 3

I bought some for my engine parts SC 924 and many parts Their price is usually the best they delivered every time for me with only a few questions minior If you buy used and you will not want cheap, you can accept some snafus now and still minors.
I tend to get p SSED instantly when I pay a premium for a new party, wait a week and then get the bad part etc etc, but if I paid pennies on the dollar, it does not bother me so much just ask names when dealing with them, so if you have a problem, you'll know who to ask to do it right.
In my experience, these guys are not sheisters, they are not a junkyard Porsche floored an epoxy, airconditioned, computerized warehouse.

Men do not quit playing because they grow old, they grow old because they stop playing.
I bought a 930 tach them via Ebay a few months ago.
They shipped internationally without great additional cost.
It happened very quickly, it was well packaged and in good condition - exactly as shown shown in the photo in the auction.

I installed it it worked perfectly without surprises, and it's in the car now.
It wasn t incredibly cheap; but certainly wasn t more than I was willing to pay for that part in the other, it was a good deal and a smooth transaction.
Edit Oh yeh, he was less than 500 and less change.
Some of their brake upgrade advice is clearly questionable scoring 864 caliper front brackets to fit on a 911 Muahahahaha But, hey, they're a scrap dealer happens to dismantle Porsches, not race auto engineers.

They also seem to enjoy some parts significantly higher than me, but hey, nobody's forcing you to buy at this price - and they're certainly not in ambitous prices as some Porsche Breakers in Southern California seems to be.

Yes - it a junkyard If you have had sex with an old puzzle game, then you know what you are dealing with.
It is about 40 miles from me - have pushed several times to buy things from them.
They are disorganized, prices O K wouldn t order them unless you are willing to spend some time on the phone.

Great place to visit Acres Porsche wrecked s If they gave you a screwdriver and a bucket and you pay by the pound.

Posted by IROC I ordered many things from them over the years, I was very aware that I order parts and prices never disappointed were good and the shipping was fast, I usually get things in a day or be 1 of the state.
Do Cogbill still owns the place I have spoken to him on the occasion do not know what to make of him.
Yes, I'm pretty sure that the guy that I treated it a Cogbill family name I recently bought a rear drive shaft coupler and a set of horns for my daughters 924 for half that than other demolition Porsche asked 40 splined coupler is a rare element to fail and Stoddard wanted for a new 300 they would have to order from Germany.
This conversation reminds me of my college days when I recommended a junk yard to a brother of the fraternity he went there in kakhis and dress shoes and got quoted a ridiculous price for a part of his escort GT I returned one week later with my fat old torn Carhart overalls and have the same part for him for half the price, even procrastination.

Men do not quit playing because they grow old, they grow old because they stop playing.
I live in GA and when I need something from them that I make every effort to call and set up a time for mounting and removing the article, they recently several months ago moved to a new location.
They are undoubtedly the largest Porsche bone yard on the East Coast without exception, the problem is they are very very disorganized and much of their business is rotting actually far outside in the elements they are rolls of cars offer from time to time and a half complete engines from wrecks, you can not beat the price, but if you are mail order parts and unable to look at the time of purchase, you may want to buy another place or be ready to accept what ever they send you.

Ultimately, cheap rooms and a good deal if you are there in person to watch and pickt item you want.
PAP is now a separate entity near Columbus Ohio They only sell new parts They are pleasant to deal with and to be so close, I buy a lot of parts of them when I need it for my daily drivers DAY families I think they still have a GAD link on their website, but they operate independently.

I've never bought anything from them, but in fact Joe Cogbill is quite automobile race engineer, he ran a Speedster, which had been equipped with complete coil over suspension among other technical changes and won championships in it He also ran a tubular frame 968 with all carbon fiber panels.
