This cultural scene in Cincinnati today is a big part of the merger of Italian and German influences, with many immigrants bringing events and beliefs with them from the late 19th century.
Many annual festivals, concerts and sporting events attract thousands to the city each year, organized by places such as inside US Bank Arena, Cincinnati Gardens, Duke Energy Convention Center, Fifth Third Arena of University, the Palace Theater and the Taft Theater, among others.

Cincy Fringe Festival - late May to early June, with theater performances, film screenings and comedy concerts galore from the day after Memorial Day.
Taste of Cincinnati - Memorial Day weekend, which took place in the middle of the city center since 1979 and featuring live music and 50 most talented chefs in the city, cook up a storm for thousands of eager tasters.



Panegyri Greek Festival - mid-June, held at the Holy Trinity St. Nicolas Greek Orthodox Church and authentic Greek cuisine, art exhibitions and various cultural activities.
Babies Zoo - popular among children, Cincinnati Zoo brings its young on the display.
Cincinnati Pride Alive festival - a gay-themed event three days, attracting in the region of 50,000 people.
Independence Day - July 4, party and endless entertainment.
Coors Lite Jazz Festival - mid-July, the largest jazz and blues festival in the country, with all the big names and legends.



Great Festival of the inland sea - held at Sawyer Point Park and with a bewildering array of delicious seafood, as well as evening entertainment.
Region Midwest Black Family Reunion - late August, a celebration of African American culture with concerts, stands and educational exhibits.
Cincy Blues Fest - mid-August, based next to the Ohio River, founded in 1992 and now the largest volunteer Blues Festival America in the existence of three or four floors are erected at Sawyer Point Park, with each offering themed performance, as Boogie Woogie Stage Piano arches three-day VIP tickets are available for the entire event.

MidPoint Music Festival MPMF - late September, staged in locations in the neighborhood Over-the-Rhine, where the idea was born in 2002.
Cincinnati Flower and Farm Fest - early October, a popular tradition held annually at Coney Island and floral displays, interactive exhibits, rides and market stalls.
PNC Festival of Lights - late November to December, a total of two million colorful lights decorate Cincinnati Zoo, attracting crowds Visitors can expect puppets, themed shows, train rides and a light show, next to Swan Lake.



New Year's Eve - December 31 festivities take place throughout the city, including the parties and fireworks at midnight.
