After reading reviews here we had some minor reservations about what to expect pleasure I can honestly say that if anyone had any serious problems, then they must have been very unlucky as the 4 nights and drinks meals we had here everyone was very polite and friendly with excellent throughout the service We talked as friends rather than clients and could easily have stayed longer Our double room was large and well appointed and the food on offer was of a good standard breakfast was excellent and varied menu on offer time and also a heavy cold suffered by one of us means we spent a little more time at the hotel we normally would have if we have seen enough to say that we will return in the future parking is very generous so no need to worry about squeezing into a space after a visit OP TIMALE or all rooms are in the back away from the A3 so we never had any noise to worry about the cost of our stay was re asonable too concerts and quiz nights here are a real atmosphere pub work rather than a plastic environment stale as many channels.
Stayed All rooms must be fairly quiet of night and day.

Large, very pleasant dining surprise after Laurence South Downs walk to the expected receipt warm welcome and made us all evening Another surprise was a great band playing tonight and after a good evening we were ready to hit those beautiful beds and get fresh for the next few miles Thanks.

The room was very comfortable, and although we thought the noise from the A3 would prevent us from sleeping this was not the case The facilities were very good and very attentive and friendly staff food menu was limited to those who have need gluten free options, but other than that, overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Delicious food, excellent own clientele was bed service room and tidy very comfortable even if we do this was only local live a spur of travel time would recommend to anyone visiting the area stunning views of the lower south and ideal if you walk down the south.
