Bugatti Museum Schlumpf
We had a good last Sunday family day week I've been meaning to share with you the photos taken just a word of warning this message is very heavy peak.
We took a trip to Beaulieu, not far from us to be honest, but we haven t really been there with family so we thought we would give it ago the kids seemed eager to see what it was all about and I love museums.
We started the monorail which was really fun, we had a good place to visit while outside and see all the beautiful sites Beaulieu Its quite short drive and you can get halfway to explore, but we did a loop and came back at the beginning then we spotted the high speed area where they take you into a room full of top speed memories and players you some of the old top gear shows which was very good Graham and I could not wait to see the smashed cars that had been used this show, we're big fans of Top Gear.
We found some incredible cars that were used in movies such as Harry Potter and the car Mr Bean.
We had lunch in the restaurant opposite the museum, it was very reasonable with hot and cold dishes to choose from, the kids had a lunch bag where they could take 5 points for April 95 Me and Graham opted for a warm cheese and ham and a delicious cookie and of course coffee.
There was so much to see in the museum, amazing old vintage cars, my highlight was the bus two floors red as you could sit they had race cars, motorcycles and also a lot of interesting things reading and bits children can touch to get knowledge There was also a mini tour you have to show you around various transport all the different interesting times.
We took a stroll in the beautiful gardens and stumbled upon this metal tree full of love locks as well as bushes in the form of Alice in Wonderland The ruins of the abbey of Beaulieu were amazing to walk and we went for a visit to Beaulieu Palace.
I love this oil painting if I could it would have been directly me home with me.
We ended our day with a trail around the Mill Pond, there were beautiful views around the whole Beaulieu with a sea of daffodils We had a great day, we will definitely be on the duration of the half Easter as they put on extra bits for children once it gets a little warmer.
I recommend you visit if you haven t been its definitely one for the whole family and for all ages.
