Here is a list of workshops BMW Its always known a short list, and I'll work on it when I have time, I'm just trying to compile this list, but some places are still vague until someone a clarification.
Dubai - Tony Edwards BMW Service Center Near Nissan Service Center, Al Quoz, SZR - quite expensive.
- X Service Center close to Stone Tony Edwards back, Al Quoz, SZR.
- Jano Motors Al Qusais - Al Qusais Industrial Area 1-04 267 6427 Al Zuleikha when the hospital is on your left, continue straight ahead and when you reach a traffic light, turn right Jano Motors is the second workshop on the right, you notice a lot of BMW, I heard its one of the best workshops cheaper in Dubai should try to confirm.

One of the best workshops Al Sari and it is located in the Sharjah industrial area, when you reach Omar al Mukhtar traffic signal, turn right, then take the first turn and then the first right, you will find this workshop accepts all brands but BMW is the owner who has worked with BMW mechanic GULF central agency for 20 years.
The only problem is that they are higher than the average on the market, but they garantee their work.

Although Al Sari workshop, I went three times, and both times they almost got cheated first, I changed some bulbs for my car, it cost me a great many, when I left I checked if I bought the lights from outside and makes for another normal workshop, it cost me less than half.
Second I needed to check my AC was cooling, but not 100, they said it is leaking, I have to change the compressor, condenser and expansion valve, in other words, I have to get a again, I paid 200 Dhs for check and left without doing anything, went to another workshop, filled the gas sector and now it's time to perfect 3ed I went because there was a noise coming from the car at the first, I told them moving I think it's the exhaust, they checked and said no it is in the drive shaft, it must be removed, fixed , might work and might not, otherwise I have to get a new tree, it will cost at least 2000 Dhs, I also paid to check, left, took to an exhaust shop, and it was indeed exhaust, it was set for 100 Dhs and is very good on time 2ED when I was there, a man es t came to take his car, I did not know what was exactly the problem I think is about the heat they said it must pay Dhs 5000, and as I recall the problem still not resolved 100 the man screamed like crazy, and he refused to take his car.
Therefore, I advise Al serri are much more expensive than other shops, and non-professional, I think when they check the problem that they know what is the problem of the car, and they say there is any other something just to make you pay more, and while they are working, they solve your real problem.

Woah, 17k where have you checked with Ali and son.

Well, AGMC in Dubai is probably as expensive, if not more.
Most workshops are mentioned here in Dubai, but it is because the members have provided this information I would like people could share their experiences in Abu Dhabi here.
Everyone I know, heads Mussafah for car repair cheaper I sugges same, and check the workshops that BMW logos on them or have BMW parked around they atleast have the tools computers needed I dont personally have experience or recommendations of UN D.
But once you find one, please do not come back and add your good or bad experience, because the two are helpful to others.

I got 530 2006 who has had this problem with the engine - idling the car would just shake and rumble and the RPM needle crazy jumping up and down, I took BOSCH and had a look very short and said its probably the problem with the MAF mass airflow sensor or even the ignition coils have said that the coils are around 2K I think, do not remember exactly, I have never taken seriously the guys.
Later, I decided to go to Munich Motor Works AlQuoz This British owner had opened it only a few weeks ago and boy was he glad to see me, he took the car for a ride and he said that it is undoubtedly the ignition coil that is causing the irregular spikes in slow motion I asked her profile and he said it was a BMW engineer qualified with 20 years of experience with them I ' I was impressed and I thought my car in good hands.
After one day, he called me back saying that the issue was not with the ignition coil as he replaced them and the problem was still there, he said he noticed the mud motor when working on replacing the coils and the problem could be related to the oil in the engine build that scared the hell out of me as it seemed to be a BIG job that involved a lot of cash register cha-ching sound good, I I asked him to give me an estimate and said that the minimum cost for opening the engine and clean the mess would be around AED10K I was in shock, I was so desperate that I told him if it takes 5K i'll pay him, but 10K is too it didn t work with him and the tool i my car back is a good thing was that when I gave the car, I asked him if I had to pay him anything or in case it wasn t able to solve the problem and he said it was not necessary if he didn t solve the problem, however, he handed over a bill AED250 to exchange coils in order to diagnose the problem.
On the road, I thought I'll check the garage in Sharjah and I took the car on the John workshop on the right hand at once to the industrial zone of King Faisal Road, the bridge, I worked the same deal with it as well - repair the car and you get paid what you're going to fall ziltch he kept the car for about 5 days and changed some broken air intake pipes and leaks, etc. And he said everything looks good and he suspects a synchronization problem I felt it follows the test track and error and I didn t like that so I paid him about 2K and took the car next Janu stop was in Sharjah.
I gave Janu car and told him the story that I had repaired He looked around one day and ended by saying that it is a timing issue He adjusted the time and believe me, the car as good as new, he started to play better and was even faster, I do not know how long the problem was ongoing, but after that day, I felt that I was driving a different car and all I paid Jano was 1700 compared to the 10K that Munich Motor Works asked.

BTW; 530 was a second hand car that I bought with just 65K on the odometer and full historical counter CMEA I even took the car to the service CMEA and they didn t say sh on the car with Infact problem, the rumblings became worse after I got back from them.
Anyway, the bottom line is that I did not like how Munich Motor Works processed the job and I personally think they are only good for taking your car for an oil change.
John - I think it was ok, just that I have not left the violin with time maybe he would have fixed, but I think the price is a little high tab.
Finally Janu I think he knows his business and its expenses are pretty decent.
P No comments on CMEA here; they are an aweful group with problems in almost all aspects of their relationship, I will explain this time I post on 2008 320 that I bought.

Hello all, got a 4 X5 model 8SE 2006 on the secondary market, and a month after using it, got error Fail Safe Trans on the dashboard screen Since it was time for a service, thought would get CMEA diagnostic service Big mistake in my pocket Anyway, after paying the price of the service and other minor spare parts, I was told that failure to safely error force them to change the entire transmission and gave me an estimate to hold your breath 65K DHs've tried to watch forums to see what the error is and how it can be fixed, and most of the solutions that the computer must be reset and or battery should be checked is changed ACMG has both and it still has the error message, it should normally disappear once ive switched off the car, but since yesterday become his permanent, and now the car seems to r ester stuck in third gear at any esle body been through this and could offer advice.

Well, you did the obvious research say about the Internet and in most cases, it is useful as it could be a simple solution Have you checked on YouTube Because there are a lot of mechanics videos discuss these issues and promote their business, it helps to understand the problem in this way you will not get scammed.
In your case, it seems like a transmission problem and I think Alhoorani Auto Gear can help.
Ok, I don t work for this guy and I am not related to him in any way from my experience with a German car that had transmission problems I can say this guy can do the job for you, specializes in auto tranmission and He will charge electronic problems somewhere in the range of 15K because it is a German car and not only, but an X5 so be prepared to dig deep into your pocket.
I'm not a mechanic or anything remotely close, but from my experience transmission repairs are expensive because they are a labor-intensive must bring down the engine and open the rear seal and separate the engine transmission and all large metal piece tranmission spell to make this diagnosis to say that without setting anything AlHoorani will charge somewhere near AED2000.

If your local dealer didnt parties, AlHoorani their order of Germany not sure of their authenticity, but they will work if you plan to give your car AlHoorani, I suggest you ask him to break the cost to you bit by knowing little.
How much labor to how many pieces recipes etc. Blah blah blah.
This way you will be able to negotiate without much room for negotiations with it on the other, you'll be stuck like I was and I ended up paying him AED8300.
Oh, and it gives a guarantee of 1 month to negotiate the warranty period before giving in to the car repair regarldess you give.

Mankool thank you seen in your ealier regarding Janu Hoorani you recommend them also, did you also have a similar problem to know about tranmission Im just wondering how a 2006 model that has some pretty low mileage 75K and used mainly in the city could end up having its transmission unit all quickly conking if he indeed said so much about the quality of BMW, it does not work.

Well, I do not trust the junk dealers as they normally synchronize the odometer and do all sorts of things with the car Sorry to make this sound so bad, but it really happens.

You can check with Janu if he is ready to occupy tranmission jobs for elevation; I'm not too sure if he can get a second opinion from AlHoorani and run a computer scan and tell you what could possibly be wrong, but in most cases it will have the open to check what went wrong Maybe the torque converter and synchronizer or God knows what.
P S I feel personally responsible AlHoorani more than the average Joe it would be best to check with Janu first.
