German team tactics in World War 2

WWII German military organizations - Organization Todt.
Figure 1 - Here we see two images of a German boy in a train station with the organization of the German soldier Todt workers We assume it was somewhere in Germany, as it seems to be a small station, must have been a small town, there is a hotel near railway station, hotel zum Guten Hoffnung This means hotel of Good Hope, but does not say where the station was located There are also carts aboard wagons soldiers appear to be regular soldiers and officers Whermacht youth uniform color Light- apparently German workers OT We have no idea if the boy has a certain relationship with the soldiers something seems to happen that the boy interested Click on the image to see the second photo of soldiers loading a wagon.
The Organization Todt was a German construction company founded by Dr. Fritz Todt Fritz Todt 1891-1942 was an engineer an early supporter of Hitler and the Nazis The company was organized on a quasi-military base Todt was rewarded for support Hitler with the contract to build the Autobahn, the first modern road network the company also won several military contracts after the war and the beginning of Nazi victories, the Organization Todt did important work in the occupied countries the largest such project was the Atlantic Wall Organization Todt has worked on construction projects in the occupied territories of the northern tip of Norway to France, as well as the reconstruction of miles and miles of paths men Russian Railways organization Todt wearing light colored uniforms We see many young men involved Todt was killed in h avi accident 1942 is unexplained control of the organization Todt sent to the Minister of Armament Albert Speer His teams also assisted in emergency situations such as bomb attacks in the city s and other disasters A Dutch player says, j 'saw Todt teams in action in occupied Holland, but I'm sure all of them were Germans because Todt used slave laborers and much of the work on the Atlantic Wall was made with the work slave, I do not think the labor of slaves wore white uniforms.
The Organization Todt OT is a German construction company founded by Dr. Fritz Todt Fritz Todt 1891-1942 civil engineer was able When World War II broke out, Todt joined the army and served in the artillery, he joined the air Force as an aerial observer 1916 eventually became the head of an independent flight squadron where he injured his business has become very important in the Third Reich after his successful work on the project Autobahn Todt was rewarded with the post of Reichsminister für Stung und sub making him the first years of the war one of the most powerful men in Germany.
Todt was an early supporter of Hitler and the Nazis, he joined the Party in 1922, he did not play an important role, however, until it was noticed by Hitler in 1932 Todt was particularly interested by the construction of highway roads, believing it would help Germany to recover from the course, the depression was a major concern of Hitler at the time of German political elections after Hitler took power Todt put in charge Autobahn project.

Hitler was impressed by the ideas of Jean Todt on the roads As Todt was an early supporter, it was a natural choice to oversee the Autobahn project that had already begun the Autobahn became the first modern road network of the world's Autobahn was reflects innovative concepts Todt was designed with security in mind, it was an aesthetic approach to the construction of the road, it's designed to harmonize with the German landscape Germans were particularly interested in the campaign, was also involved in labor relations, put unemployed Germans working This was accomplished in part by using the HRH Autobahn has not played a major role in the German war effort most of the equipment and supplies heavy Wehrmacht were moved by rail the Autobahn, however, was very useful to the highly mechanized US army that swept Germany after crossing the Rhine in March 1945 General Eisenhower was so impressed that when he was elected president in 1952, he launched the Inter-American S tate roads.
OT Todt Organization was a construction and engineering company It was a small operation, but in the construction of the Autobahn expanded in a major operation a result of a small construction company with 36 employees, the company has become one larger companies in Germany when the war began, OT was put under military control and became the main engineering and construction operations of the army during the Second World war.
The company was organized on a military-based EO was composed of a small number of engineers and technicians after the war began a large number of foreign workers came under the control of OT I do not know how they were obtained were requisitioned Some others were abducted in 1944 the total was about 1 5 million people Their status was essentially slave labor.
O first major military project was granted before the war started the Old Testament built the Western Wall, better known as the Siegfried Line in the West during the war of the Western Wall, a defensive installation, played little role in the early years of the war he played a role after the release of Normandy to slow the Allied advance during the winter 1944-1945 the Americans after the liberation of Paris pressed the north in Germany there Siegfried had two lines, the two were German defensive lines built to the west of the Rhine between France and Germany, the first was built by the Germans during World war 1916-1917 much of this line was in Belgium Alsace and the second was built in the 1930s by the Germans called OT the west wall he faced the French Maginot line much wider line the western wall was a ser ie fortified positions and tank traps defensive line was built in the north of Switzerland where the Rhine between the Netherlands It was 3 miles deep and consisted of degrees Summer bunkers, positions of artillery observation posts, command posts and shelters troops dragon's teeth were covered by fire from the heights overlooking where a complex network of heavy bunkers of concrete, put in the ground and well camouflaged, included elaborate systems of trenches and obstacles of both natural obstacles wire as streams or projections concrete called dragon teeth were conceived as means antitank along the length of the line after the line construction in the 1930s, little attention was given to the D-day invasion in June 1944 and the defeat of the Wehrmacht in France July-August 1944 the west wall consisted of fortified towns and p everal belts permanent fortifications guarding the approaches in Germany Goebbels began to emphasize the Western Wall in German propaganda after the liberation of France the most striking feature of the West Wall was endless rows of contrite teeth dragons designed to block the passage of allied tanks while neglected after the German Success in the West during 1940, the West wall fortifications were still a formidable obstacle, especially in certain sectors.
The company has won several military contracts after the war began and following the first NAZI victories, the Organization Todt did important work in the occupied countries, as the German army advanced in Europe, a many construction projects became necessary the main assignments were building OT OT communication and transmission lines built new roads, bridges, air fields and a range of fortifications While the war turned against the Nazis, the big defensive installations were initiated the largest such project was the OT Atlantic Wall was also responsible for the massive fortifications Hitler insisted be built on the Channel Islands other major projects were pens submarines and heavy anti-aircraft rounds the Gustav line in the north of Italy was another OT project Virtually all gra ndes German military structures built during the war were OT Projects This included arms factories and the OT concentration camps worked on construction projects in the occupied territories of the northern tip of Norway to France and the reconstruction of miles and miles of Russian railways OT teams also assisted in emergencies such as bomb attacks in cities and other disasters.

German men in the organization Todt wearing light colored uniforms Uniform 1 OT Originally was originally a uniform of khaki tunic and could thus be distinguished from regular Wehrmacht soldiers Men of old Testament were subject to military discipline tunic was worn open at the throat They had a round patch of red armband with a black swastika in a circle on a white background and three inches above the left wrist is a narrow band with the words Org Todt white Gothic black belt with a single ring worn on the tunic They had issue boots of the regular army OT used many foreign workers they usually wore civilian clothes with a stitched gray armband which indicates the unit or squad number during the war, the Old Testament began to uniform their foreign workers wore the Uni elm base OT with piping distinction, indicating their nationality, on the straps War Department of the United States.
The work force OT has varied over time there were four major periods in the development of the Old Testament.
The predecessor of the Organization Todt was the office Generalinspektor für das deutsche StraЯenwesen General Inspector of German Roadways The agency is primarily responsible for the construction of innovative network Autobahn German Workers Organizing workers The agency was also able to draw party inductee low cost labor through work service-- Reichsarbeitsdienst RAD Reich it was the labor service required for older teens before joining the army much of the work was done they manual labor without heavy equipment.
The nature of the organization changed the Nazis began to overwhelm the other counties starting with Czechoslovakia, the Organization Todt was founded appropriate the war resulted in a huge increase in contracts issued by the military and paramilitary forces This meant a force greatly expanded work was needed on mandatory service laws were changed Virtually all Germans have to complete a compulsory work - Zwangsarbeit Some Jan. 75 million Germans were conscripted into the labor service.
The Old Testament character began to change in 1940, Germany invaded Poland in September 1939, the authorities in Poland published labor decrees establishing the legal basis for maintaining the detention ab and a source of forced laborers the Old Testament there were different categories that OT could build for their workers were guest workers Gastarbeitnehmer, military internees Militдrinternierte, civilian workers and Zivilarbeiter Ostarbeiter Eastern workers Hilfswillige There was also recruited volunteer workers prisoners war by the military, especially in the east.
The work force OT before the war was employed German workers began to change after the war started, especially after the Germans invaded the Soviet Union and the war began to go against Germany in 1942 This resulted that that more Germans needed to replace the growing level of victims of the Wehrmacht at the same time the need for a military build momentum, more and more defensive installations were needed OT began to use more prisoners of war and forced labor conscripted in occupied countries was the term used Fremdarbeiter foreign workers the use of foreign workers working in labor costs significantly reduced They were indeed forced the mostly slave OT then began to use slave labor Obtained from concentration camps from 1943 to 1944 Some 1 for 4 million workers have been working under the Old Testament A small number included Germans rejected from military service 1 percent and the concentration camp prisoners 1 5 percent most were prisoners of war and forced laborers from occupied countries, often collected in raids They were treated essentially as slaves Many died because of violence, abuse, insufficient food, poor housing, and lack of medical care An additional step was to start using German Mischlinge half Jewish and individuals related to Jews by marriage fall 1944 Gruner Mischlinge with only two Jewish grandparents were not deported to the death camps, but have been discriminated against in many ways the course Nazis developed racial policies developed this action is a good indication of what that Mischlinge and other non-German ethnic groups the Reich would have faced once the Nazis had won the war A report suggests that German Mischlingewere 10,000-20,000 units and wedding-related people were recruited in the Old Testament A special Dutch player says, I saw Todt teams in action in occupied Holland and I am sure that all Germans were used because OT laborers and slaves of the work on the Atlantic wall was made with slave labor, I don t think the work of slaves wore light colored uniforms OT is believed to have enslaved more than 1 5 million men and boys of the occupied countries because they were used in construction projects, workers employed slaves were men they were living and working in horrible conditions the workfare slave OT part of u forced labor program led by Fritz Sauckel slave labor under control OT was both used on OT projects and leased to other German companies and companies in the countries occupied especially France wins military contracts.

Todt was killed in plane crash unexplained pm 1942 Hitler spoke at his funeral, in the sad hour of this, it is very difficult for me to think of a man whose actions speak louder and more impressive than words can do when we received the terrible news of the misfortune which our dear master builder Dr. Todt was the victim several million Germans had the same empty feeling which always occurs when an irreplaceable man is from his fellow men, however, the whole German nation knows that the death of this man means an irreplaceable loss for us, it is not only the creative personality who was taken from us, but it is also true and unforgettable fellow man, whose departure affects us so deeply Dr. Todt was a National Socialist control of the Todt organization submitted to the Minister of Armament Albert Speer Speer removed OT military control and placed under the Central Board of Control that he oversaw planning.
Franz Xaver Dorsch was German civil engineer Todt appointed his chief engineer Dorsch oversaw a series of engineering projects at home and in countries occupied by the Germans The primary project in occupied countries was the Atlantic Wall, he played a leading role in many NAZI Germany's large engineering projects, including the construction of the Siegfried line Westwall, the Atlantic Wall and many other fortifications in Germany and occupied Europe after the death of Jean Todt and Speer's appointment as minister of armaments, and Speer Dirsch became rivals Marin Burmese in the Chancellory grabbed Dirsch Speer to undermine one of the main problems was the construction of underground factories managed Dirsch to take control of almost all construction projects in the last year of the war much of its work force was slave labor, may s Dorsch managed to escape justice in the courts of Nuremberg.
One reader said, My father was an engineer for Baufirma Boersch Kassel, Germany, which subcontracted the Old Testament, he worked in Norway and France 1940-1945 Working in France, we suspect was on the Atlantic Wall.
