A George III gilt enamel decorated teapot green, registered, Charles Salter sic Edinborough.
Presumably the recipient, a Charles Salter Edinborough, was pleased to receive this presentation creamware teapot glossy green 18thC century, in 1791 Certainly it was well received on the sale of Ramsay Cornish in Edinburgh on March 4.
He had some restorations to the handle and the spout and was estimated at 100-150 but the pot with the name and date locked in golden scroll booties, sold to a collector for 600.
