BMW i8 production plant tour
In the BMW Group factory, you will get an exciting look behind the scenes of automobile manufacturing, the visit of the BMW Group parent plant takes you through all the press production areas working on the assembly Factory main is located in the north of Munich close at Group headquarters, the BMW Museum and BMW Welt Approximately 7,700 employees from over 50 countries are working on this site, 850 are trainees as part of the BMW Group†production network worldwide, the BMW Munich plant group built more than 950 cars and over 3,000 engines per day.
As the representative of all international production facilities Group†BMW, the BMW Munich plant group, right next to the BMW Welt offers its customers direct insight the state of the art automobile manufacturing's visit the original factory BMW†offers an exciting insight into all areas of automotive production experts guiding the tour naturally focus on specific requests and questions guests†in concept and the road, the factory tour BMW Group follows specific content criteria, allowing you to access all automobile production technologies at BMW Plant Group Munich Press Shop, Body Shop, Paint Shop, Engine Shop, production of interior equipment and seat and the Assembly.
IMPORTANT Please book the tickets you need well in advance for tours of the factory are very popular and are usually full when you try to book at short notice.
Monday to Friday from 9 am - 4: 30 pm in the summer 9:00 to 6:15.
There are no guided tours on weekends, public holidays and in Bavaria.
Please note there will be no factory tour 26 May 16 June, 02 October and during periods after April 18 to April 21, 11 August - 19 September October 30 to 7 November, 21 December - 19 January.

Guided tours are available in German and English.
Please note it may not be possible to include all sections of the tour at any time.
For safety reasons, please note that our guided tours in English require participants to understand English.
As of October 1, part of the road to the factory tour will be crossed by bus This means that from 01 10, the number of participants can take part, will be limited to 28 people.
