At least 24 American dogs killed in Kuwait Miami Herald

Dozens of trained American dogs were killed by a company based in Kuwait last week, according to several reports, but there are conflicting explanations for death.

The National Society Kuwait Petroleum said Tuesday it has not taken part in the killing of dogs and regretted a company spokesman said they have canceled the contract because a third party has tested the ability of dogs to detect explosives hidden in oil rigs and dogs do not pass the tests.
